<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">YAMUNANAGAR: Yamunanagar police have registered a case u/s 307 IPC against Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI) who was involved in shoot out incident.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">According to Mr Rajinder Singh Superintendent of Police Yamunanagar, Mr Ranjor Singh ASI posted at Mullana Police Station in Ambala District in wee hours today morning at 2 am went to Mehar Singh Saini''s resident at village Dharamgarh about 20 kilometers from here in Yamunanagar district in uniform in private vehicle.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">He said that about two days back Ranjor Singh son Ajay in a drunkard condition went to his relatives Mehar Singh Saini residence in village Dharamgarh at night time and forcibly entered the house the members of Saini family resisted it.
SP said that Ajay stressed that he will sleep there but it was not allowed and was thrown out of the house. Ajay informed of the incident to his father and asked him to teach them a lesson.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">At 2 am, Ranjor Singh ASI took out his pistol and went to Mehar Singh''s house and threatened them to come out. Mr Saini and his family members came out and there was a scuffle between the two. ASI fired five rounds from the weapon, which created panic in the village. Out of five rounds, two bullets hit Saini and seriously injured him.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">Mr Rajinder Singh said that the people of village assembled there ASI who was also injured in scuffle ran away. Mr Saini was immediately shifted to private hospital in Yamunanagar where he has been operated today. SP said that ASI has also been admitted in a private hospital in Mullana.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">SP said that on a complaint lodged by brother of Mr Mehar Singh Saini Thana Chhappar police has registered a case u/s 307 IPC against ASI. He has not been arrested as yet as he is under treatment. It is stated that Ranjor Singh younger brother is Deputy Superintendent of Police Haryana.</span></div> </div>
